Web developer turned pastry chef, I have spent the past 16 years chasing after my passion for baking. Considering the amount of elaborate birthday cakes my mother baked for our birthdays π, and the number of baking books I skimmed through as a child, it was only natural that my love for pastries would eventually develop into a life-long career and replace the path I started on π
Jordanian born and raised, I left my IT job after a few years and moved to Paris to study for the Grand Pastry Diploma at Le Cordon Bleu, which then turned into a whirlwind of unexpected events & jobs in Paris, Jordan, and Stockholm. Starting off as a cake designer in Paris, heading my own cake & catering studio in Jordan, and finally moving to Stockholm in 2016 where I headed Grand Hotel's pastry kitchen until 2021.
I currently Head the pastry team at Fotografiska Stockholm, and run a consulting / teaching business on the side. I am motivated by challenges, deadlines, positive energy and beautiful auras β¨. Love connecting with people and catering to pastry enthusiasts π°π§π₯. I offer private cateringΒ as well as pastry courses, and have a weak spot for extravagant requests!
I look forward to many fun events with Bestick. If you can imagine it, we can probably make it happen, and remember, there is always room for dessert! π€
