Meet Sofia, the heart and mind behind Vildväxt! 🌿✨ Growing up in the Stockholm archipelago, nature has always been her home and inspiration. As an adult, she spends most of her time outdoors—hiking, cycling, kayaking, and skiing—while filling her plate with the best the wild has to offer.
With formal training and hands-on experience as a self-sustainer, mushroom consultant, and nature guide, she has dedicated herself to exploring our natural pantry, mastering wild food, and the art of fermentation.
Through Vildväxt, she offers immersive courses on foraging edible plants, seaweeds, and mushrooms, as well as fermentation and food preservation techniques. Her mission? To spark curiosity and creativity, helping others turn wild ingredients into nourishing, sustainable meals.
