Burcu is the heart and soul behind Lite Grann, a small home bakery in Stockholm. ✨
Food has always been a part of her story. Growing up in Turkey 🇹🇷, she spent hours in the kitchen alongside her mom, soaking in the magic of home cooking. What started as simple curiosity soon turned into a passion for pastry and baking, a way to express herself through flavors and textures.
For years, she worked in User Experience and Service Design, building a career in consulting while keeping her passion for baking on the back burner. But in 2023, after much research and soul-searching, she knew it was time to follow my true calling. She enrolled at the Institut Culinaire de France, founded by the legendary Pierre Hermé, and headed to Bordeaux for an immersive pastry program. There, she trained in pastry, bread, ice cream, and chocolate, deepening her craft and love for the art of baking. 🍰🥐🍫
Driven by curiosity and a love for exploration, Burcu enjoys experimenting with unexpected flavor combinations and bringing people together over thoughtfully crafted desserts. She offers private catering for events and hosts engaging cake and pastry workshops, each designed to spark creativity and connection. There’s something truly special about creating something unique together!
