Hello all!
This is the first What's Up post! The idea of this is we're sharing the fun and the not so fun with all of you who support us and your local chefs, and tell you about exciting things, new things and interesting tidbits that we think you'd like to read.
We wanted to start by thanking you all for being here and using our app, experiencing and exploring the exciting world of elaborate events, as Lemony Snicket would say. We hope you'll find something to enrich your culinary world - we know we have, with all these amazing chefs we've gotten to know through creating Bestick. If there's one thing we're sure about, it's that the world needs to know these artists and creators way better, and what better way than (segue) hosting a huge launch party on a boat!
Because of this (the app) we wanted to really show as many people as we can what Bestick is all about. So we went a little crazy and decided that hosting a Boat Extravaganza with 10+ chefs from all over the world, with live music, dj's and even wine tasting would be a nice and easy way for a bootstrapped startup to officially start it's journey. Ok, maybe it's just that we love hosting people, and how often do you get an excuse to do something like this....?
So we started with an idea of a launch party, and now it's grown to include some of our favorite people - chefs who have believed in the idea from the start, supported us with kind words and a ton of assistance, something that keeps us going through all the hard times (it's a startup, there's plenty of those). So if you want to share the fun, cause there'll be plenty of that, and support a little baby-startup, plus your new favorite chefs - join us on the 5th pls :D
ps. we hope we won't have to wear those coats for the 5th...
