Join us for a dinner that brings the elegance of Gonzaga court cuisine to the table. With pumpkin-filled tortelli, a refined cappone salad, and the iconic Torta delle Rose, this night is a tribute to the warm, perfumed dishes of 16th- and 17th-century Mantua—where food and history waltz together.

What You’ll Eat

• Tortelli di Zucca – handmade pasta filled with sweet pumpkin, crushed amaretti, Parmigiano Reggiano and pear mostarda – a celebrated recipe from the 1500s Mantuan court.
• Insalata di Cappone alla Stefani – poached capon breast with golden sultanas, candied citrus and pine nuts – a delicate dish by Bartolomeo Stefani, chef to the Gonzagas.
• Dessert: Torta delle Rose – buttery brioche rolls shaped like a rose bouquet, baked in honour of Isabella d’Este – a proud Mantuan classic.

Vegetarian Option
Tortelli di Zucca with sage butter, plus a selection of seasonal Mantuan vegetable dishes.
